Funding
How much funding is available?
LEVY PAYER:
(Annual wage bill over £3M) – 100% of the cost is paid from your Levy. After you have used all of your Levy pot you are required to pay 5% of the cost and the government pays 95%. So after you have used up all of your Levy pot, then you pay about £23 per learner per month. There is no limit on the number of learners you can have on programme.
NON-LEVY PAYER:
(Annual wage bill under £3M) – The government pays 95% of the cost and you pay 5%. This equates to you paying £23 per month per learner and the Government pays the rest. These programmes normally cost £7,000 per person.

What else do you need to know?
We’ll discuss this with you in detail but effectively, if you have a new or existing employee, who has had the right to work in the UK for the past three years they’re eligible to join a government funded development programme.
The Recruiter Development Programme includes the following topics:
- Identify recruitment opportunities by analysing stakeholder needs and creating job descriptions.
- Develop job adverts and marketing plans for vacancies.
- Research and identify candidates matching role requirements.
- Contact and qualify potential candidates.
- Create candidate profiles and share with hiring managers.
- Collect and communicate candidate feedback.
- Manage the selection process and guide candidates to their start date.
- Support onboarding and administration of new hires.
- Engage stakeholders to maintain a talent pipeline.
- Ensure compliance by managing recruitment systems and data.
- Contribute to resource strategy by implementing metrics.
The government has set a funding cap of £7,000 for the Recruiter Development Programme. Juice will work with you to set up your Apprenticeship Digital account, so that your levy funds are transferred to us over the course of the apprenticeship (in accordance with the levy funding rules). This will be payable monthly at approximately £466 per month per learner and should the apprentice leave the programme, no further payment is taken. If you do not have a levy fund, then the government still pays 95% of the cost and you pay 5% – this equates to you paying approximately £23 per month per learner and the government pays the rest.
